Overview
These kits are intended to either connect or convert your factory-style automatic floor shifter to now work properly with the specific transmission that you are using.
Kit Styles
Transmission Connection Kits

- DO NOT come with a new shift gate. These include just the transmission parts you will need to connect your shifter "as-is" to your current or new transmission.
- ONLY available for TH350 / TH400 applications.
Conversion Kits
-
- will include a new shift gate, along with the transmission parts you will need to not only connect your shifter but also to allow it to properly function with your new transmission.
Master Kits
-
- will include everything from the conversion kit PLUS a new neutral safety switch AND the suggested length cable for your specific car / transmission combination.
- NOTE, if you believe your project will require a different length cable than what the master kit includes, please DO NOT purchase the Master Kit and then attempt to exchange the cable for a different length. We encourage you to measure in advance and if you believe you will require a different length cable than what is recommended, simply purchase the Conversion Kit and desired length Cable individually.
Shifting Styles (for Conversion & Master Kits)
ALL shift gates have mechanical reverse lockout safety. Meaning you must depress the shifter release button to go from neutral to reverse or park to reverse.
Regular-Shift (Factory Style)

- included shift gate will function quite like the factory did.
- these operate by holding the shifter release button in order to downshift and not being required to hold it for upshifts.
Sport-Shift

- included shift gate will incorporate catches for each gear when upshifting when precision gear changes are desired by the user.
- these operate by holding the shifter release button during certain gear changes and not holding it for others in order to never miss a gear or "over-shift."
- ONLY available for 3-spd & 4-spd automatic transmissions.

NOTE, 6-spd & 8-spd automatic transmissions cannot mechanically select individual gears.
- Gear positions for these transmissions will typically be Park, Reverse, Neutral, Drive, Manual, (then in some cases, Low).
- Putting the shifter in "D" or "Drive" position will allow the transmission to operate through all gears on it's own based on what the computer tells it to do.
- Putting the shifter in "M" or "Manual" position tells the transmission to look for an electronic input on how and when to shift up or down.
- To provide the input for individual gear selection, the use of retrofitted electronic paddle shifters or some other input signal will be required.
Reverse Valve Body (ONLY available in Sport-Shift)

- included shift gate will operate similarly to the "Sport-Shift" version, but the forward gear pattern will be reversed.
- shift pattern will be Park -> Reverse -> Neutral -> 1st -> 2nd -> 3rd ->(when it applies, 4th).
- ONLY available for 3-spd & 4-spd automatic transmissions.
