This is a Universal shift linkage kit and is designed to be cut and or bent to fit individual applications. A splined adapter allows the arm to be positioned at any angle. A slot positions the pivot joint for longer or shorter sweep and pointer alignment.
Adjustment - 17" - 23½" pivot to pivot.
This kit works great with early style transmissions. There weren't any switches mounted on the case that could cause any conflict with shift levers on these transmissions and this kit is recommended for use with a TH350, TH400, TH200-4R, TH700-R4, or 4L60 (CPP02 kit will also work for this application).
Adjustment - 7" - 24" pivot to pivot.
A nice feature of this kit is that the shift arm allows proper clearance with transmissions that have the GM Neutral Safety Switch mounted to the transmission case. This is why if you have a 4L60E, 4L65E, 4L70E, 4L75E, or 4L80E you will want to use this kit.
